Four fragments of cloth, from late Roman or Coptic textiles, base of plain linen, embroidered with dyed wool, three with purple dyed erotes (two) or floral border (one), and the fourth with polychrome decoration (crumpled, motif not clear). From a Paraffin Tablet box used in excavation as storage for papyrus fragments, the textile fragments found mixed in with the papyri: box marked in pencil 'packed with Qau and Badari case'. Contents of box together were Temporary Number 546.
