Spectroscopic apparatus

Stereoscopic apparatus with photographic plate holder (no 1E). Black metal object on iron stand with wooden photographic plate holder on one end and brass lens piece on other.
Most probably a wavelength spectrometer, constant deviation type. Photographic plate holder can be tilted from side to side by adjusting dial. Has 3 legs (cast iron). Part of plate holder can be moved up and down. There is a mirror at the inner end of the brass lens. Photographic plate holder still contains a plate - shows a spectrum (possibly) - smokey grey in colour. Extra piece bagged and with object - has an adjustable dial which controls the size of three slits, possibly produces the patern on teh photographic plates. Brass and iron(?).
