JS Haldane - Lloyd gas analyser
Description
Homemade Haldane apparatus in wooden cabinet. For measuring blood gases. Contains variety of glass tubes/ testubes/ thermometers/ rubber tubes and pumping mechanism.
Wooden cabinet with brass hinges (upper broken). Contains a network of glass pipes held by meal clips, including a large tube containing three smaller tubes one of which has marked measurements. Attached by rubber pipes is a rubber hand pump wrapped in green fabric mesh. In catch on door is a serrated brass implement. Attached to inside of door is a paper scale annotated in pen and a tacked card containig typed corrections by C L. Evans.
