Description
Two pairs of stockings and a pair of shoe liners worn by Jeremy Bentham's Auto-Icon.
The inner pair of stockings are white knitted wool and fleece with heavy darning. The outer pair are white knitted silk with a back seam. The outer stockings have a double band of red silk stripes across the top hem and the letter B embroidered in brown silk on the inside upper legs. Both pairs have handwritten laundry labels in black ink on striped tape.
