Description
Four greywacke (brown) fragments reconstructed to form part of rectangular vessel with hemispherical profile and flat ends; exterior decroated with longitudinal, parallel incised lines to imitate plam leaf basket with cross-binding strip in relief at each end and in centre, interior plain; possibley a box lid; trace of cross-piece at one corner (to form handle or linking piece. From Abydos Umm el Qa'ab.
