Scarab of glazed steatite, colour faded to buff, underside inscribed in hieroglyphs with personal name and title 'administrator Khenemsu', in border of oval scrolls. First hieroglyph (rwd) with unusually long tail at left, and writing of Khenemsu simplified with i-reed in place of vertical nm-hieroglyph: crude ancient work, or modern imitation?
