Fragmentary sheet with hieratic letter in black, in thick, large, cursive signs, in two 'pages' on recto, endorsement on verso. Torn, with numerous insect-holes. Petrie lot No. N.4. This letter concerns an underling, Irtysen, who needs some frit which the boss has promised him. Apparently, this should have been obtained from the stores but both the overseer and the accountant in charge are away on business. It appears that the frit is part of some kind of deal, about which the boss is putting pressure on Irypersen to complete. Irypersen is informing his boss that the cloth is ready but the deal cannot be completed until he has the green frit.
