Fragmentary strip torn from a sheet of papyrus for re-use as a note, in hieratic, in black, in large, thick cursive signs, with 8 horizontal lines on verso, endorsement on recto. Torn, lacking upper left and centre, with frayed edges, and insect-holes. Petrie lot no LXV.1. To or from an estate overseer (imy-r pr) Meri. The mention of senu-bread suggests that this letter concerns preparations for a festival.
