Fragmentary hieratic papyri letter, mounted in one frame. A) Two strips with pencilled note on paper below (see "Mark"). From a letter with two lines in black on verso, address column in black on recto naming the imy-r hwt ntr "temple overseer" senebtyfy and a black stroke to left; if still loose, the fragment cited in the note (see "mark") has not been identified among 32106H; insect holes but one edge partially intact. The letter seems to be about some sort of discontent, which has been stirred up and the writer is asking his boss to come down and sort it out before it gets out of hand.
The text has been translated as:
[Strip 1 Verso] 'This is a message for the lord, may he live long, prosper and thrive, about the rumblings at Hetep-Senwosret-The-Justified so the things that the citizen Sobekaa has to say can be judged.............[the accusations(?)].......you [shall] do(?)........lector priest and chief...' [Recto] '..................The overseer of the temple Senebtify'.
[Strip 2] '..................he said with regard to the one who stirred up trouble for him, “I can stir up trouble (too)”. If you were to come things would be brought back to normality. This is a message to [the lord, may he live long, prosper and thrive]...................'
