Hieratic letter with one vertical column and three + X + seven horizontal lines and one final vertical column on recto; verso hidden by mount; parts of outer edges are intact, but there is were along fold-lines and extensive insect attack.
This letter is a bit fragmentary, but apparently deals with misbehaviour by an instructor of entertainers. He is attached to some kind of group of entertainers, who may be singers, musicians, dancers or prostitutes, or any combination of the above. The temple is mentioned but this does not necessarily mean that they are connected to the temple; miscreants were often brought to the temple for justice to be dispensed. The mention of “destruction” may mean that the woman at the centre of the matter has destroyed something, or even been destroyed herself, but it could also be a writing of the word for “debt”.

This is a message for the lord to the effect that all the concerns of the lord, may he live long, prosper and thrive, are safe and sound and as they should be..................{unknown number of lines missing}........................................................]
the instructor [.......] bring the
woman from [..........................................................]
her destruction/debt [......................................................]
the temple so the lord, may he live long, prosper and thrive could give the authority to
his own council by removing the bad influence of the instructor from the [.....] of the entertainers'.
