Description
Painted wooden female porter figure carrying a basket on her head with a large container on top - black crennelated open lid; white flaring body. Moveable arms - left straight by side, right holding basket. Walking with right leg in front; feet and base lost. Painted yellow, with details of hair, eyes (pupils = white) and cross hatching of basket in black. Wears linen skirt with sash support over right shoulder. From Sedment Tomb 1580 of Nekhta.
