Description
Artificial horizon and case
Mercury trough artificial horizon in leather T-shaped case. Painted brass and steel. Used by Galton in Damaraland. Other observations: Piece of envelope with handwritten note inside "Glass of Artificial Horizon it tumbled (sic) out. The other glass is apparently lost by 1903".
