Photograph of display on Freundlich, and a photograph of Freundlich, both mounted together for the Freundlich centenary commemoration exhibition. In brown cardboard mount and brown frame. Photograph of display on Freundlich, and a photograph of Freundlich. These images are mounted together for the Freundlich centenary commemoration exhibition. The portrait of Freundlich [previously labelled "sketch"- it is more likely that the image is a copy of a photograph] was used by F.G. Donnan in his obituary notice of Fellows from the Royal Society (Vol.4, No.11, Nov., 1942). Both cases, the image is signed by Freundlich beneath the illustration.
The images are mounted with brown cardboard, in turn tucked into a gilded slipframe, and the entire thing is framed with wood (glass is missing).
