Description
Plaster life mask of Berthold Auerbach. Part of Robert Noel's Casts of Intellectuals series.
Cast of a man's head and neck with a bow tie and full beard. The cast is on a round base inscribed twice with the number 13. The eyes and mouth are closed, the hair is swept back. There is a piece of the right ear missing.
Auerbach was born in 1812 and died in 1882, he was a poet and author
