Cast of a man's head, neck and partial collar. The cast is on a round base inscribed with the number 15. The eyes and mouth are closed, the hair is long, swept over the forehead from right to left and covering the ears. There is a moustache which is curled at the ends, sideburns and a beard under the chin. The chin and upper cheeks are clean shaven. There are chips on the end of the nose the base on the left side.
Thun und Hohenstein was born 1809, he was patron of the arts and possibly Noel's brother-in-law.
