Sculpture

Stele with sides tapering upwards, with a narrow plinth on which stands a figure of Britannia, full face, her left hand resting on her shield, her right arm raised as if to hold a spear; a lion at her feet left (W&G 28). Model for the monument to Lord North (1732-92) at Wroxton Church, Oxfordshire.
