Lithograph "proof" of Ramsay. Portrait of Ramsay, half-length, turned to the left. The image is signed "Yours sincerely William Ramsay" in ink, handwritten. The image is further signed (in pencil?) by a "H. Washington Green" on the bottom left of the image, and the word "Proof" written to its right. The image is mounted on off-white paper, which is in turn framed in wood (gilded at the centre) and screened by glass. The gum tape on the reverse of the frame is coming undone, needs to be re-sealed. Asbestos Inspection - Non-Asbestos
