Clockwork time marker in black leather-covered case with red velvet inserts. Time marker is screwed onto metal pole attached to base of box and can be removed. Two clock-face dials on side. Siolver metal instrument in box. End of recorder needle has snapped off and was loose in box, now bagged. Blue makers label under lid. Brass hinges and clasp fitting. Mouldings in lid and small loop in box to hold instrument. Small tray lined with felt is loose in box. Felt is rubbing off in box lining under instrument.
