Modern undershirt worn by Jeremy Bentham's Auto-Icon
Cream cotton and rayon jersey knit undershirt with button placket. There is a small label the placket with the red embroidered text 'Sea Island cotton and Cortaulds rayon, Quality Tested, Horne Brothers Limited.' The original Auto-Icon undershirt was disposed of in 1939 as it had been destroyed by moths. This replacement was donated by Dr. G. R. Lorimer, Librarian at McGill University, Montreal.
