Linen with occasional threads of coloured wool woven in, and tufts of both wool and linen; red, blues, yellow. In frame giving provenance Illahun. Label on back of frame states "given by Mr. Leonard Lote, author of The Fisher (Fishes) of the Nile." Framed in Oxford, according to pencilled note in old register.
