Description
Yellow limestone back fragment from statuette of Sobekhotep and his wife Shedemnut, with modern figures of a man and woman sculpted in high relief from the break edge (original core of statuette); single vertical column of hieroglyphs on each side of the two long edges (bottom right corner missing) shown by Henry Fischer to match the piece with the original sculpture front fragments, now in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (Fischer, H.G. 'The Mark of a Second Hand on Ancient Egyptian Culture' in Metropolitan Museum Journal, Vol 9, 1974).
