Description
Modern ivory 'wand' carved from split tusk; crocodile with fish in mouth on curved side; snake with fish in mouth on flat side. Acquired at Geneina, capital of west Darfur, in 1926, said to be from Oubangui-Chari, former name for the Central African Republic, and presented to the museum at unknown date by A.J. Arkell.
