Description
Limestone stela with depictions at left in high relief: male figure with fillet round head and kilt facing right, carrying bow with string foremost in left hand, and baton in right hand; followed by three hunting dogs with curly tails; to right, four lines of incised hieroglyphic inscription, invoking Anubis for offerings for Nedjeti, above raised relief depiction of offerings on table. Provenance unknown, presumably purchased by Petrie. Similar examples were found in the Liverpool University expedition by Garstang at Naqada. Provenance unknown, presumed to have been purchased by Petrie. In very bad condition, right edge damaged.
