Iron bracelet with six bronze inlaid circles, separated in pairs by a single cross, and joined by a thin band which forms the bracelet. discs inset with copper, probably originally in all shapes, but only survives in two. This type of bracelet, a disc bracelet, dates between the mid-6th to mid-7th century AD (see Kraus 2005 in JAC 48/9, 116). As this bracelet includes an equal arm cross motif, it is not likely to be from the earlier part of this date range, as suggested by Kraus). A parallel with a narrow ribbed band, can be found in Horak and Harrauer 2001 'Kopten' cat. No. 12, dated 6th-7th c., private collection.
