Scarab, steatite, underside inscribed with hieroglyphic inscription, at right an oval containing throne-name of king Thutmes III (Menkheperra), at centre and left the epithet of Merenptah 'hetep-her-maat' "content with Right"; with modern brass ring and wire at right angle to perforation.
