E.H.S. (R.S) outlined on top left side. Label on front bottom left corner reading '1 9.358; 2.9.673; 4 9.514; 7 9.389'. Case contains 2 brass plates; 1 brass scale numbered 0-10; engraved L. Oertling LTD London E.C. with 12 on reverse; 2 attachments engraved L and R; 1 brass handle. Fitted in case is brass pillar and plastic scale. Rubber rest under area where each pan would be. Another balance bar along top of the case with lever to pull hook along.. Case contains a plastic box with paper inside reading '2 mg rider so top weight = 0<20 mg'. May have had draws beneath case found similar on science museum page.
