Plaster life mask of Dr. Krause. Part of Robert Noel's Casts of Intellectuals series. Cast of a man's head, neck and part of shoulders. The bottom of the cast is squared off with no additional base, the number 17 is inscribed on the front of the cast. The eyes and mouth are closed, the hair is parted on the left side, the chin and cheeks are clean shaven, but the sitter has a moustache. There is a small chip on the end of the nose and some chipping on the right side of the base. Krause was a writer.
