Four greywacke (green) fragments; three reconstructed (A) to form part fo a rectangular vessel with hemispherical profile and flat end with part of cross-piece at one corner (to form handle or linking piece of composite); exterior and interior decorated with longitudinal, parallel incised lines to imitate palm leafbasket with cross-binding strips at end and centre; B: rim fragment with trace of corner, probably part of A, trace of edge of raised section at inner break of rim, possilbe lip. Surface find at the royal necropolis, Abydos Umm el Qa'ab
