Green faience upper portion of shabti of Nitocris. Flat crown & uraeus, centre of face unfortunately damaged; holds hoes and basket over right shoulder. On line of horizontal text partly preserved continuing round back, and including the God's Wife's cartouche. Remains of animal glue, originally sticking lower portion. Very fine. Unknown provenance, ex Wellcome Collection.
