Oblong rectangular panel, with narrow plinth; on the right a figure of Fame in high relief, her foot on an antique prow and with the stern of a man-of-war behind her, is assisting Britannia, left, to hang a medallion portrait of Captain Miller on a palm tree; behind Britannia a couchant lion (W&G 23). Model for the monument in St Paul's Cathedral to Captain Ralph Willett Miller (1762-99), Flag Captain to Nelson, killed at the Battle of Acre 1799.
