Rectangular panel on which a female figure, in high relief, is seated facing right on a narrow ledge, reading a book; behind her a broad, broken shaft (W&G 34). Model for part of the monument to John Braithwaite (1722-1800) at the Cathedral and Parish Church of St Michael, Bridgetown, Barbados.
