One of two models which flank inscription tablet, their position being reversed. A Brahim, symbolizing Hindu Law, his arms crossed in front of him and with a manuscript in his right hand (W&G 26). Model for the figure which stands on the left of the monument to Sir William Jones in St Mary's Church, Oxford.
