Portrait of Charles Linnaeus (1707-1778), Swedish Botanist, half-length seated directed to the right, hand resting on papers, holding a flower, wearing a ruffled cravat, shoulder-length wig and star on a ribbon, by Charles Eden Wagstaff, from a copy by Lorens Pasch in the possession of R. Brown Esq,, after the original at the Royal Academy of Sciences at Stockholm, proof state, stipple with etching on paper, circa 1810-1840.
