Circular print representing various papers in a trompe l'oeil manner, possibly used to decorate a tobacco box; includes portraits of Orléans, Necker, Marat, Maury, Robespierre, Pétion, Mirabeau, Bailly and Lafayette, as well as assignats and pamphlets; Father Time flies with a scythe in hands; in edges are hidden silhouettes of Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Madame Elizabeth and the Dauphin, by Anonymous, French, etching with stipple engraving on laid paper, circa 1796.
