whorls
[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
Clay disk with two holes in the centre. Previously identified as a spindle whorl, but the two holes suggest it may instead be a loom weight, or toggle. The curved profile and striations from throwing indicate that this was made from a pot sherd.
