Andrew Edmunds: 'The frame is modern and has been artfully faked up, specially on the back to look period. I think that it casts doubt on the authenticity and identity of this very poor drawing. It does not have the charm of an amateur hand and I find it unconvincing' (see valuation, CGS 2020).
