Wax encuastic portrait on wooden panel of man; dark curly hair, eyebrows, probable beard and moustache, skin yellowish cream and pink,patch of yellow pigment on forehead; wearing cream chiton with possible purple haematon at right shoulder. Traces of oiled binding bandages from mummy on edges of portrait, particualry on left (as viewed) and base of portrait; silver probably missing from right side; back stained by oil with patches of linen adhering. Right sliver found and joined, 1994. Not marked. From Hawara cemetery.
