Five Galton whistles, two high frequency, two lower frequency, one cane, one holder Other observations: With letter from George Spiller Ltd, 32 Wigmore Street to Karl Pearson 6.2.1923. Pearson seems to have asked for infomation regarding construction of whistles in box... With handwritten note, reads "First specimens of whistles used by Sir Francis Galton for testing the appreciation of high notes in men and animals."
