Campbell standard mutual inductometer in polished wood box. Large dial with scale from -5 to 105 microhenries. 5 smaller dials & 16 contacts. Has instruction booklet & test certificate from 1945. Lid removable.
Campbell Standard Mutual Inductometer in polished wood box. Held in wooden box with removable wooden lid. The lid has a lare crack running through its centre. Large Dial with scale from -5 to 105 microhenries. 1 smaller dial for increasing or decreasing resistance (-6 to +6 Ohms), 2 further small dials for changing the scale by 100x and 1000x (in incruments of 0-10), a dial to calibrate the device, and a dial to change the scale from 1 to 1/5. 16 contacts for more precise controls. Also contains detailed instructions from the manufacturer and a certificate of test, providing an exact date of test and rough time of manufacture. Comes in 3 parts - the Main instrument, the lid and the instructions.
Asbestos confirmed as present, 2015/10/20. Comments 'The Bakelite knobs and dials are strongly presumed to contain asbestos / Manage to minimise disturbance'.
