shoes
[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
Pair of shoes worn by Jeremy Bentham's Auto-Icon.
Pair of slipper-style shoes made of brown-black basket weave wool and linen fabric with leather soles and heels. The shoes are hand-stitched with linen thread and tied with a brown tape drawstring threaded through the weave of the shoe fabric. The construction of the shoes is slightly different from each other, the right shoe has a wedge, and the left shoe has a heel. Both shoes have hand-written tape labels in the heels. The shoes show signs of light wear, and there is a modern repair to the tape bow on the left shoe made in 1992.
