Greywacke (green) composite dish fragment, linking piece with corner of (rectangular) dish, decorated on exterior with longitudinal, parallel lines and cross-binding strip (?reed ? palm), perforated through to oval bowl shape (broken), which forms one side of convex-sided, trapezoidal cut-out, outer side has binding strip on interior, other two sides missing. Very similar to UC36992 and could possibly be part of same vessel. This fragment joins UC37001. From Abydos Umm el Qa'ab.
