The first of eight frames containing a mass of paper and papyrus fragments bearing writing, previously stored in crumpled condition within a brown envelope addressed to Petrie at Oxyrhynchus. Papyrus was conserved in 2003 into eight frames. This frame contains fragments of papyrus bearing some Kufic inscriptions, and seems to be part of a contract or receipt (9th-10th C. AD).
