Part of limestone stela of a man called Khety, from the Osiris temple enclosure at Abydos, with parts of four horizontal lines of hieroglyphs above parts of twelve columns of hierogyphs, giving autobiographical, including ethical, declarations, including the title or task description 'commander (atju) of the Cobra province' (= region of Qau), and statements '(I/he was) one free from flight in the presence of council', and 'I did not eye the wife of a man, I was not jealous of the servants of (any) fellow: if a son does it, his father disowns him in the council, I did not receive the goods of a man without anything to receive, I did what was requested, that is what the god loves on earth'.
