Terracotta (redware pottery) hollow? female head, presumably from lid in form of human figure. Grotesque, stylized face with large ears, uneven round blobs for eyes; squashed nose and slit mouth. Elaborate coiffure with chignon (broken), details incised; banded headdress just above eyes. ?Imported ware.
