[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
Limestone stela, round-topped, with depictions and hieroglyphic inscription in three registers, under hieroglyphs filling round-topped area above, with start of offering-formula and possibly including a vertical oval (cartouche?).Top register: man seated on high-backed chair, flaring cylindrical ointment vessel under chair, holding lotus to nose, with woman standing behind, holding lotus-flower in one hand, other to back of seated figure identified in hieroglyphs above his head as 'his wife', name no longer legible, facing to right to a sealed large globular vessel and other offerings, and a left-facing man standing to the right with arms to side, identified in hieroglyphs above his head as Dedsobek (unless this is the name of the seated man). Middle register: similar scene, woman holding ankh (mirror in case?) and again identified as 'his wife' to seated man, man to right holding out an offering, both men perhaps identified as Sobeknakht in inscriptions, but barely legible. Bottom register: three men striding to right, holding lotus flowers in different positions, wearing long kilts, followed by a smaller figure at left, arms to side, names from right to left Dedn..., Sobeknakht..., Wepwawethotepu, and ..-sobek. Heavily eroded.
