Papyrus fragment bearing parts of four vertical lines of hieratic, containing a central portion of the literary masterpiece the Tale of Sanehat [Sinuhe] (corresponding to manuscript B lines 103-110 in the standard edition), written in a fine hand; from the parallel texts, it is estimated that about one half the height is lost; on the side with vertical fibres uppermost a single red dot is preserved; P Harageh 1. It preserves part of the episode in which Sanehat becomes champion general for the ruler of Retjenu in Western Asia.
