Photograph of Prof. E Hughes, framed and mounted, dark carved wooden frame and off-white mounting paper. Signed at the bottom right below the photograph, looks like "Wicken/ Bangor". E. Hughes graduated from Bangor University at a time where John Wickens had established himself as a portrait photographer, it is likely that he is the photographer. The gum tape is becoming slightly loose at the reverse of the frame. There is also a number "4" handwritten in pencil on the reverse of the photograph.
