Copyrighted 1907 and signed by 22 lecturers and students (including Ingold), this picture appears to be a gift presented at the end of the year to Professor E. D. Hughes. The image is of an Edwardian woman wringing out her skirt at a body of water, possibly a coloured print. It is entitled "THE SEDUCTIVE EFFECT (+ S.A.)." and copyrighted by the Celebrity Art Co., Boston.
The image is mounted on black paper, in turn on off-white paper, and framed in wood that has been gilded towards the interior.
