Ceremonial silver gilt key with shield on top.
Ceremonial silver gilt key with shield on top. Presented to Sir William Ramsay KCB, DSc, MD, FRS when opening the new science laboratories at Cranleigh School.ield on one side is divided into three, with one third showing six birds under a crescent, the next third showing a sword with two keys and the bottom third a single cross. Motto below this, and on the other side an inscription. Boby of the key is twisted and has golden colour that has flaked off to reveal dark coloured metal. Silver head of key.
