Bronze rectangular plaque in leather holder with blue cotton (?) lining.
Bronze rectangular plaque in leather holder with blue cotton (?) lining.
Bronze plaque has two circular holes at the top two corners, with the metal cast to look like a frame around the borders. An inscription runs the side of teh plaque in latin. The plaque sits in a leather case, with two hinges on one side and a clasp on the other. Clasp is damaged and does not hold teh case closed. Inner case is lined with blue cotton (possibly silk?) under teh lid and blue fely (?) around teh plaque. There are five ends of thred visible, three behind the plaque and two under the lid. Lining in generally good condition, with some dark spots under the lid and waer around the plaque. Around teh edges of the case insdie and out the cover has cracked off and wood can be seen. Top of the case appears to be real leather, and has a wolf, a crown and laurel wreath stamped in teh middle, while the rest of teh box appears to have been covered in immitation leather.
